Fun, Fun, Fun!

My Beautiful Wonderful Girl is so fun! Something happened to her yesterday and she is all of a sudden super fun and happy. Her teeth must be almost in (still grinding, so I don't think it's OVER over, but still...).I didn't even let her go to bed when she was tired last night because I was having such a blast with her.

Not to say that I don't always love being with her, but... well, I don't. In the evenings she tends to be cranky and whiny and so I usually do look at the clock a lot to check if it's okay for bed yet. But not last night. Like I said, she was just super fun last night. Marc said it's today, too. Dare we hope?!?

She is just so darned funny! She learned to walk backwards and does it so carefully and it's just a riot and a half. She also lines up her animals perfectly and then just grins at them before knocking them all over the place. She is using words more (still just to identify and name things, but I just know the communication is coming soon).

When Marc takes her to the park everyday, he goes down a bike path and picks a flower for her. One day, he had to go to the mailbox instead of turning down the bike path and she had a conniption fit over not turning down the right street. Further up, there are two parks to go to- they normally go to the closer one, but the further one is more fun. When they don't turn down the "right" street for the close park, she also has a fit.

So she's thankfully got Dad's sense of direction, as I don't even know where anything is after going there 100 times.

She's learned to work the garbage can. She throws garbage away and then claps for herself. Which is good, because when we hear clapping for no reason in the kitchen, we know to check the garbage for things like shoes, blankets and her toy purse.

I know there was a really funny thing I needed to remember to write down, but I forget.

My thanks to Sheri for helping me learn how to use Movable Type for my new webpage. This will let me manage everything easier and to also be able to keep my journal online again. And, while a great program, Movable Type is NOT easy! Yikes. Took me most of Sunday to get installed.
