Good Friends and McDonald's

Marc took Signa to the zoo on Wednesday and in the morning when she got up she told me, "I'm going to the zoo to see my good friend otter. I will throw balls to him and he will throw them back to me. Because I'm his good friend." Marc and I laughed and then had to tell her there were no otters at our zoo. But alas, she was right. We'd forgotten the new addition. Clearly she hadn't, since they were all "good friends".

Another thing that Marc told me that made me spit root beer out of my nose (Baby Will LOVES root beer...). Signa was sitting Indian-style yesterday and looked down and announced: "Hey! My legs are making McDonald's!"

We went to the first of four of these music and movement classes that our city puts on. It was only $30 for all four classes and I though it would be something fun. And it was! They sing all the usual songs and do the hand movements, etc. But sadly, Signa was overwhelmed with joy at the kids and ended up mostly just trying to hug the girl next to her endlessly and then when it was dance time, she just bossed everyone around and didn't do her part.

She always gets like this with kids. It's like she's sooooo happy to be around them that she wants to squish them all up in her pockets and take them all home with her. It's so sad because unless it's someone as enthusiastic as her, they shy away from her and she's left alone. We thought getting her around groups of kids more would help, but she is in a Tuesday playgroup, Thursday art group, Saturday dance class and now this. And she still tries to over love all the kids.

I dreamed about Baby Will all night long the other night. He was so beautiful in my dream (I am sure he will be in real life, too) and the dreams made me realize that I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY! A real live baby to love and wonder over just like I now have a little girl to love and wonder over. After "seeing" him (even if it was a dream), I'm more excited than ever to meet him and hold him and kiss him and love him.
