Little Man Does Ballet
Yesterday when I got home from work, Marc showed me Will's newest cuteness. He pushes the piano key on his toy piano to make the song play and then he throws his arms over his head and dances in circles around the house.

Recital Day. Signa had her dance recital on the 9th. Instructions were to get there at EXACTLY 4:50, so we did. Then they didn't let us drop Signa off until 10 after so it was 20 minutes of "SIGNA, STAY OFF THE GRASS IN THAT DRESS!" Scary. Anyway, it was fine. She did a great job and looked so pretty.
Will is still doing great. Talking more and more: "Keeeeee!" (kitty), "Uh oh," "Brrrrum," "Ball," "Bye," and "Baby." Then Mee Mee and Da-Deee. I think there are more, but that's all I can remember because he's also teething so I got about 45 seconds of sleep last night. And not all 45 seconds were in a row.
I just got back from Minneapolis for work and was sick the whole time. I don't like traveling any more! It's not fun at all without the kids. Or at least the kid who is nursing- pumping isn't fun when the baby isn't even there to drink the milk any part of the day.
Anyway, home now and happy to be here. I have a trip to plan to Oregon, but that's WITH the baby, so a fun one, not un-fun!
Signa-ism-
Signa: "Someday I will live somewhere else and not with you."
Me: "You mean you won't live with Daddy and Momma and take care of us?"
Signa: (Laughing) "No! Silly, I will be married and have babies in my tummy and you can visit like Gwamma does."
Me: "That makes me sad. It will just be me and Daddy and Baby Will."
Signa: (Laughing at me again) "No! Will will be the daddy and I will be the momma with babies in my tummy! Will won't be here, either. He will be all growed up like me and we will be the momma and daddy."
Me: "So you will be married to Will and have a family?"
Signa: "Yep. And when the babies come out, I will go to work and Will will take the babies to the park."
Me: "What are you going to do with the money you make at work?"
Signa: "BUY PIZZA AND TOYS FOR THE BABIES!"

Uh Oh
So many things and so little time... I took last week off and we spent a few days in Folsom with my cousin's family. We had a great time, lounging in the pool and eating and visiting the zoo. On Tuesday I had a client meeting there and then we left for home. We were to do a ton of work around the house and it turned out to be more like a pound and a half than a ton, but a pound and a half more than would have been done otherwise, right?
The kids are cute and funny. Signa has a new fear of these commercials: Vertigo Candy
A couple of weeks ago, she and I were talking about nothing and she suddenly burst into tears and would not stop sobbing. Took me awhile to find out that she saw this on the TV while we were talking and it freaked her out. For over a week, she would play in her room when the TV was on or just stand back so she couldn't see it. One day she said, "Momma, let's do projects today!!! And I should probably have the TV off so that I can concentrate on the projects." Anything to keep away from the commercials. She's still irrational about it, but her love of Spongebob lured her back to the land of commercials.
Will is toddling everywhere now. And he's starting to talk. Much earlier than Signa. He says, "Baby," "Ball," "Daddy," "MeeMee (Momma)," and (my favorite) "Uh oh." He also drives his little cars around and says, "Brrrrrrr" and plays catch better than I do. "Uh oh" is so darned cute. I wish I could describe it but he sounds so cheery about it. Throw the cup, then the UH in a high tone that goes on just a touch too long and then the low OH. So darned funny. Especially when he said it after I announced to Marc that our friend Diane was pregnant.
I'll try to get better at updating. It's just so hard because I could spend all day and night writing this stuff down!!! And instead, I'm not getting that or anything else done!
